As a precautionary measure we have postponed or cancelled our upcoming events through May in order to safeguard our community. Currently our office is closed to walk-in traffic and our staff are utilizing staggered schedules to minimize the number of staff in the office at one time. If you have reserved our Conference Room for a party of 10 or more please call to reschedule. We know some of our businesses in the community are already struggling and we are here to provide assistance. We urge your businesses to contact us, keep us informed and let us know how we can assist you through this difficult time. The Chamber is working in partnership with the City of Sierra Vista, the Small Business Development Center, the Arizona Regional Economic Foundation, Cochise County, the Governor’s Office, local businesses, and countless other resources in an effort to keep you informed. With the weight of the news constantly on our minds and in our hearts, we feel it is imperative during this time to be aware that this hardship allows us all the opportunity to show the world who we are as a person, as a community, as a County, and as a part of this great country. If you look around you will see that our communities are overflowing with generosity, empathy, and kindness. Actions and attitudes matter so much when everyone is struggling in one way or another. Now is the time to think outside the box. If you are an essential employee, be creative in the ways in which you work. Be creative in the ways you spend time with family and friends as well.
